Our Junior Heart Starter program is tailored to kids as young as 5 years old. At Heart Starter we believe it is vital to start teaching kids at an early age how to recognize someone in medical distress.
"Building the skills for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) can begin as early as age 4 and layer on as children get older, so that by age 10, they may be able to perform effective chest compressions on training mannequins,"
Our Junior Heart Starters will learn when to call
9-1-1, proper hand placement for chest compressions, how to use a pocket mask and how to use an AED.
All Junior Heart Starters will receive thier own certificate of completion.
